How much protein powder and when to take it?

hey so im 16 145>150 pounds and 6'1 so im farely lanky but i also have the misfortune of being a bit chubby. so my goal is too get lean and at the same time gain muscle. untill now i.ve had a had a pretty bad diet and no exercise but recently i've sarted eating a low fat high protein diet. which consists of lean meat fruits veggies and brown rice bread ect. i also run daily i cant run for too long yet but im working on it. soon im gonna start weight training so i bough myself a protein/muscle gainer called x-treme muscle gainer made by inkospor, its forein as i am in france right now. it has 25.5g of protein per 30g of the stuff and all amino acids. based on what ive told you do you think this is a good protein powder to be taking and how much and how often should i take this, im going to be working out everyother day and continue doing runs daily should i only take it only after a workout or even on my break days or after a run? please help im clueless on this subject
