Has anyone used shampoo liniment type things?

I use Vetrolin liniment on the horses I ride. It seems to do a very good job on one horse, who is also lanky and often sore in his back and haunches. When I use the liniment, he is a lot more supple and comfortable. Vetrolin is not a shampoo, exactly, but you mix a small amount in a bucket of water and it covers the entire horse. It smells great, too! My horse always tries to eat it haha!
