Does anybody else get annoyed by dan savage?

he's done a lot for the It Gets Better, but i feel that he's only saying it to teens who are gay or lesbian, that he doesn't care about bis or trans at all! am i the only one that feels this way? i say that because he says that bi men and women have to have both especially men, or that we are truly in the closet. he also says the same thing about trans, how trans are just gay people who are confused. that we need to stop crying and getting mad and face the truth. i feel bad for not liking him that much mainly because of those comments. i feel he is saying its ok to not date bis because they can't commit(actually he did say this in a column! i know he's done a lot and i'm sure he's a great guy, but for some reason his little commits get under my skin mainly because people are going to believe it! anybody else feel this way?
