Is this a reason to end my friendship/love interest?

similar thing happend to me and i chose to ignore him and it got to the point where he just didnt talk to me anymore, we got into pointless arguments and i never talk to him anymore, he was my bestest friend, and i didnt think anything of what i was doing, i regret it so much, i even wrote a song about how much i want to be back friends with him, in your case, its with the opposite sex, and since youve kissed and stuff and havnt beenin a relationship with him, id completely advise you to be freinds again with him, and maybe even start a relationship, all these conversations youve had with him, talking about everything, you will just throw away over 1 little thing like i did, and its not a nice position, happend to me 2 years ago, and i still regret it soo much
